Piano Lessons for Children

Individual zoom piano lessons are available for children from Year 2. A wide range of materials are used to make the lessons fun and engaging, and games are used to reinforce concepts. Pupils will need a device with a camera and a screen large enough to see the music and what I am demonstrating. A laptop or tablet are ideal. I use multiple cameras to ensure the lesson is clear and easy to understand. 

Piano lessons are available for both beginners and 'returners' with all ages catered for. Lessons can be individual or in a small group, and the atmosphere is supportive and encouraging. Adults take piano lessons for a variety of reasons, so lessons are tailored to your individual interests and goals.

Free Trial Lesson

A free evaluation lesson is available for all new students to ensure that this new way of learning is completely right for you. In this 20 minute lesson we will be able to explore your zoom learning experience, and sort out any technical issues you may have. Zoom is very easy to use, and you will be emailed a lesson link every week so you just have to 'click and join'. 

 

Piano Exams

Students can be entered for online Associated Board piano exams when appropriate, and these are of equal standing with the 'in person' exams you may be more used to. Pupils record their performances on a video and this is submitted to the exam board for marking. More information can be found here.
